The Beira Cement factory will put the electrical current substation to the test, the news was announced by the factory director, Wouter Trollip last Saturday.

MAPUTO-The revelation was made when the Prime Minister visited the central province of Sofala, but the director did not reveal what the factory's electricity needs will be.

Cimento da Beira will have an estimated production capacity of around 800 thousand tons per year.

Cited by today's edition of Diário de Moçambique, Trollip guaranteed that, in addition to supplying the domestic market, the cement will be exported to neighboring countries, such as Malawi, Zimbabwe and Malawi.

Trolli also stated that the factory will produce normal cement following international standards and also special cement if required.
